La Instituci\u00f3n Educativa Preuniversitario de Bello<\/strong>\u00a0naci\u00f3 gracias a la autorizaci\u00f3n que el MINISTERIO DE EDUCACI\u00d3N NACIONAL hizo para viabilizar las Innovaciones Educativas en el pa\u00eds, por medio del Decreto No. 2647 del 24 de octubre de 1984.En los a\u00f1os 80 el ex presidente Belisario Betancur promovi\u00f3 la educaci\u00f3n a distancia y flexible, inicialmente enfocada en la educaci\u00f3n superior,\u00a0<\/span>pero esta reglamentaci\u00f3n abri\u00f3 a la vez el panorama a otros niveles educativos como primaria y secundaria.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fue as\u00ed como Pedro Antonio R\u00edos Tob\u00f3n, un prestigioso y visionario Odont\u00f3logo del departamento, en sociedad con su amigo Licenciado Dar\u00edo Piedrahita Zapata, que en aquel entonces se desempe\u00f1aba como delegado del ministerio de educaci\u00f3n para Antioquia, emprendieron un arduo trabajo en equipo con el Licenciado Lu\u00eds Eduardo Guzm\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez, un educador con alta trayectoria en el municipio de Bello y concibieron un nuevo modelo pedag\u00f3gico, que le permiti\u00f3 a la poblaci\u00f3n adulta Bellanita y de otros municipios aleda\u00f1os, terminar sus estudios b\u00e1sicos y secundarios, de acuerdo con sus necesidades.<\/span><\/p>\n

Como producto de dicho proyecto naci\u00f3 en 1988, en Bello, el Instituto\u00a0Preuniversitario de Bello, \u201cAntonio J. R\u00edos Q\u201d. M\u00e1s conocido actualmente como IPB.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A partir del 7 de Diciembre de 2006 el Instituto, cambia su nombre, al recibir de la secretaria de educaci\u00f3n una nueva aprobaci\u00f3n y desde entonces su trayectoria como la primera instituci\u00f3n educativa para adultos de car\u00e1cter privado en el municipio.<\/span><\/p>\n
